90 days free Google Play Music!

Yes, unfortunately I already have a subscription so it doesn't matter to me. I was hoping to get that play store credit though but missed out.

Ya should at least attempt to talk 'em into it ... tell them it's discrimination or something ...

Same here. I like Play Music and now with no ads on YouTube, I don't mind the price.

Spotify has a better random playlist in my experience. Play Music seems to cater to new music/artists more than popular songs which may or may not be a negative to some people.

Yeah, from what I've seen in the videos, it's only for new subscribers.

Not a big deal to me. I've been a subscriber since day one, so I only pay 7.99 a month. Now, I also get YouTube without ads for the same price. Good enough.

I am in the same boat. I was excited when they announced that family plan for $14.99, or whatever they will charge, because then I could share it with my wife. But I bet I can never go back to my $7.99 a month if she ever gets tired of it, not sure if I will pull the trigger or not. Might just get her signed up for $9.99 a month and not risk it.

My wife's on that 9.99 right now, but I figure, for 6 users, as long as 2 people used it, I'm still paying about 7.99 a month for each, so its still a couple buck cheaper a month. And I could let a couple other people in on it, save one for when the stepson is old enough to have a phone, etc. So I'm thinking I'll switch to the family plan.

I wouldn't be so sure about not getting the 7.99 back. Mine got cancelled because I cancelled the card it charges each month & forgot to switch my info. When I signed back up, they still honored the 7.99 without me having to ask or anything. Might've been a fluke, but I was happy.

How do we sign up for the free 90 days? I just learned I could apply the $50 google credit to subscriptions so if I like it, I'll do that.

how many people can be on a family plan?

Up to 6, but they haven't launched the family plan to my knowledge.

As for the 90 days, one video I watched said there wasn't a code or anything, so I'm guessing it's tired to your Google account that purchased the phone with?
