9 Innings Pro Baseball Playoffs Bug?

My team made it into the semi-finals and I won the three out of five series. I am now given the option to advance into the "playoffs" but when I select "playoffs" it just shuts down the app and returns me to my home screen.

Anyone else gotten this far? Is this a bug? Help.
