8+ hour delay with people receiving my MMS messages

I receive mms messages right away when they are sent to me, but when I send one to someone, they always receive them 8 or more hours later.

Any ideas?

Aye you in 3g or 1X or 1x..sounds like they get "trapped" inside the nerwork

I have the same problem sometimes but they dont quite take eight hours, more like twenty min or so. I'm not in 3g yet even though I have had verizon for years but I am in an ex alltell area which is supposed to be updated with 3g soon. I reset my phone constantly and update my PRL's on a weekly basis by dialing *228 /option 2 and it seems to help out somewhat.

It updates your PRL's. It will make sure that you have the best connection to Verizons wireless network possible and you should do it once a month.
