My phone is hidding 8.2Gb on eternal memory. And when I go to the miscellaneous thing there is no more then 100mb of files. I tried a root browser, no success. How to find those files so I can delete them.
I had the exact same problem... I found mine with es file Explorer.
They were buried in a file called data/backups.. I'm on a custom recovery (TWRP) and had 3 stock backups taking up 3gb of data!
These files are BURIED! but you can find them .. Good luck
