602 and barnacle works

First I know people shouldn't use apps like this. I use them literally a couple times a month for a few minutes and am not being stupid with them. I don't try to replace my home Internet etc. My usage is a gig or so a month total for my phone so spare me the bit about ruining things for others. Its not me that blasts the data through non stop. Anyway with gb I had missed my tether. Wireless tether had failed me and I didn't want to flash the patch. I tried it again with 602 and no go. On a whim tried barnacle and Tada it works beautifully. Thought you might want to know

Data usage is pointless now. Netflix streaming
Youtube streaming
Hulu streaming

Doing stationary chores around the house, my wife went through 12gigs using Netflix on her phone last month.


Tethering is just a drop in the bucket, in my opinion.

I'm still figuring out the droid x and stuff, what is barnacle? is it a tethering app? I'm using some other app for tethering, i forget what it is called but it is the only one with a yellow icon.
