[8-2-2012] .906 to. 890 SBF *UPDATED* .exe

YOU MUST BE ON .906 OTA TO USE THIS
**If you are on .890 ota please download and use this file>>D3.SBF.890.ZIP (flash via rsdlite)**

Sence .906 was introduced the previous .890 SBF would not work. The following is a SBF that was created by extracting some files
(boot.img, cdt.bin, mbm.bin, mbmloader_hs.bin, recovery.img) from the .906 ota and placing them in the original .890 SBF file
which now makes it possible for us to SBF back from .906 to .890.

I created a 1-click-sbf.exe to make flashing as simple as possible. The exe when ran will extract files to a temp dir (if needed)
to make it easy for you to delete manually or most window cleaners will clean the temp folder. thus you don't have to
have that much room taken up on your hard drive all the time..when you start the exe it will check the temp folder to see if
the files still remain..if they do it will not need to extract the files thus starting much quicker!

I am not responsible if you brick your phone while using this!
It has been tested and confirmed working...

1-Click .EXE Method:

PLEASE DONT FORGET TO CLICK THE LITTLE LIKE BUTTON...

1. Download the above file to computer
2. Get a beer
3. If you have a spare battery, or the current battery, make sure it's charged above 50%
(quick unbrick wont run if it's below 50%)
4. When the phone is off, press m+power and scroll down to AP Fastboot.
5. Plug the phone into the computer, make sure you get the USB connected message on the phone.
6. Run the "1_CLICK_SBF.exe" (win 7 users right click on .exe and run as administrator)
7. Let your phone restore and boot.
8. Finish that beer your done..wasn't that easy..

*NOTE:
Once you have successfully sbf'd you will have to reinstall the .906 ota. you can accomplish this one of 2 ways
1. Go to settings/about phone/system updates and follow the steps
2. Download the update from this thread push it to your EXTERNAL sdcard boot your phone into STOCK recovery pwr+x choose install update

Is this all that is needed to revert to stock for warranty? Or do I need to flash .890 after, then take an OTA to .906?

i used this method successfully but my FFC will not work now.

this is all that is needed to take tou back to .890
and what is ffc?
once you use this you will be back on a modified .890 if you want to be back on .906 you will need to go to settings/about phone/check for updates and reinstall the .906 ota

lol gotcha...not sure why he has that prob
I used it atleast 6 times so far with no issues
my wife has used it twice no issues and I used it once on my sons d3 with no issues..
also over at xda I have had no one report any such issues..
wonder if he installed a rom before he checked the ffc or restored some sort of data?

okay because its so dang easy and quick lol myself,my wife,my son and my buddy all just sbf'd using the .exe
we then touched all for corners of the android screen to boot directly into the system with no sign in
we then booted up the camera app and checked the ffc and all report working
so I am left to wonder if your ffc didn't jsut go out
here's one thing you can try
go into your privacy settings perform a factory reset
when you get to the android pull your battery
replace battery and boot into your bootloader
sbf
then after sign in go directly to system/about phone and upgrade to .906
then check your camera again
if that doesn't work I'm 90% sure your ffc went out on you...

now to reroot,radiocomm and install team haters v4 lol

Gotta do the radiocomm after sbf, huh...good to know. Sbf reflashes radio img, correct?
