A new Sony device called the Xperia A just passed through the FCC. We aren't sure if it will be a new flagship, or just a different mid-range device, because we don't know all the specs yet. However, some of it's features are pretty high-end, so it will be an intriguing device to watch out for. Here's what we know from the FCC filing,
  • 5-Inch Display
  • 13 megapixel shooter
  • 16 GB internal storage
  • A Removable 2,300mAh battery
Obviously, the most intriguing thing about this device is that it has a removable battery. This is quite a bit "outside of the box" for Sony devices. The processor has not been revealed, so that is why we are at a quandary when trying to categorize this phone. We will just have to keep an eye out to find out more.
