4g on/off um.... help?

So I turned 4g off with the *#*#4636#*# method. Just got an email saying 4g was enabled in my area. I went to turn it back on and the screen doesnt come up. It says that the call can not be completed as dialed.

I typed it in just as I dialed it manually 5 times and it matches what I saw on the droid life site where I found the code.

Really would be cool to try out the 4g

someone tell me what I am doing wrong

Just search the market for the free app that opens that menu.. it's from XDA forums.

that was toooo easy. thanks for the help, rebooting now. will be interesting to see if the 4g shows up. we are not that big of a city

You can also use phone info to turn off 4g.

I would check your phone's state after each reboot. I set mine to 3G, but after a reboot it reverted back. I haven't had any problems unless I reboot though...
