For me, best one was the ART option. Does seem to speed up the phone. Will re-boot and it will take a while, because it is re-compiling (?) the apps for ART?

Also, did the GPS walking thing.

Don't really care about alternative launchers. Tried the KK Launcher and lost my widgets.
