2.3 for LG ally

Qwhen will the 2.3 update be released for the Ally?

Never. The Ally has been dead for awhile, especially since it was a very troublesome phone from the start. The Ally was my first Droid and my upgrade to the Samsung Continuum was so much better, even with it still only running 2.1. It's nice the Ally got 2.2 but don't ever expect a 2.3 update for that handset.

ya. there is a cm7 port to the ally

Yeah the LG ally will never receive an OTA update due to its old age. I don't miss mine at all, even though my continuum is giving me issues right now.
