2.3.4 download failed

Hey guys-
This is my first post here. After hearing the new 2.3.4 update was out I went under settings to check for and download the update. However, after it checks for the update and I tell it to download, it gives an error that download failed. I'm not rooted (never have been) and am currently running 2.3.3. Any ideas short of resetting my phone?

Not sure. You may need to turn WiFi on.

Nope tried both on mobile network and with that off and Wi-Fi on. Have also tried restarting my phone. Keeps giving me same error message.

Have you tried pulling the battery and then doing the update? If that doesn't work, you might have to try doing the dreaded factory reset...

I had to reset my phone to get beyond this error. Others have had luck clearing the running applications cache (not sure what apps though) .
