I have the copy for unrooted phone. I believe if you're rooted on 2.1 then need to have 2.2 for rooted in that way it wont loose root. Anyways i have a copy of 2.2 unrooted.

If I use the unrooted copy now,can I still use the orignal 2.2 when and if it comes out.
Now I read it will not be ready until the droid pro comes out in november.:icon_evil:

No you cant upgrade to ota 2.2 you would need to flash back to 2.1 to get the 2.2 ota. But i'm sure someone would release ota 2.2 copy but not sure yet to early to know. Do you have 2.2 if not pm me.

I was going to try the leaked version but now you are talking about flashing, then I'm not playing around with my phone this close to getting the 2.2.Anyway the only two things I don't like not having is the adobe flash and the sound or volume I can care less about the other upgrades.

You do know that we all that do websurfing and play games need adobe flash its a need youtube need this this. I reather watch youtube on a browser then a some kind of program.
