2.2.1 ?

I am rooted right now, and have the latest Fission ROM loaded. I would like to know if I am behind in times running 2.2.1 on my DROID 2. I noticed that others have 2.3. I keep checking my phone for updates and it says I am running the latest, but i don't think so. I think I may have to go back to stock and then try to see if I get an update, maybe. Can anyone shed some light to my concern? Thank you.

Android 2.3 has only been officially released for the Nexus S, and Cyanogenmod 7 brings it to other devices, but none of the other phones have received an official update yet, so no, you're not behind the times.
The 2.3 community builds from what I understand are still in the early testing phases.

yea and if your own a ROM you will not get the update unless you check bc most ROMs disable the update notification....Taegost that sig quot is gr8 HAHA
