1.3.25 Question

Hey all, wanted to get your opinion on something. I despise the lockscreen on this ROM, but like everything else. I have tried several replacement lockscreens, but none seen to play nice with my Droid. Has anyone tried one that has worked well? Thanks for any input. The issues that coincided with the lockscreen installation, then disappear when the screen is uninstalled are:

Emails not syncing
keyboard not coming up when it should
long lag when pressing home button

and a few others.

Yo PARick, What don't you like about the lock-screen on this miui? I personally like the hacked rotary on roms like CM7 better, but this one does everyhting it needs and more. If you get SMS messages, you can simply hold down the messages button to view them quick, or swipe down to open the app. Same with the phone for missed calls. Also, if you double-tap the lock part the music controls pop up. I completely understand wanting to change somehting but this lock has it all and more. If you dont like the looks of it, it can be themed...

My GMail syncs just fine. Yes, sometimes the keyboard had trouble, but its fin most of the time for me. When you say long lag when pressing home button do you mean to open the app manager with a long press or to go to your home screen? You might want to try in terminal emulator:

TYPE:
echo ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1 >> /data/local.prop
THEN REBOOT YOUR DEVICE.

This little code helps keep your current launcher (LPro for me) in memory.

Yo X Sorry I wasn't too clear, but it is with the replacement lockscreens that I have the problems with. Stock works fine. You are right, it has some nice features. Frankly, and I know this sounds knit picky, but the clock is my main issue. I don't carry a watch, and rely on the phone for time. I want to look at it, without thinking, and know the time. If that were fixed, I could live with it. Thanks!

Hahahaha. Oh man. I know a previous MIUI version had the clock looking normal. Maybe if you can locate that verison it would be better for ya. I dono what changed however in the versions...
