Record phone calls

I just noticed the option to record phone calls ........how do you access and play back the files? All it created was a .amr file

I have the same question. I am on version 1.3.5 and I tried to record 2 calls today, and 2 files were created but have 0 bytes... so... yea...

I noticed there is not much support in this rom's forums. In other forums I noticed questions are answered pretty quick.

LOVE this rom though, it's awesome and different.

I believe that is only possible on a gsm or 4g network. gramps can't handle all those new fangled contraptions.

Too bad, would be a nice feature... there are apps that do it i believe so i don't see why it can't work...

It doesnt - ive been on the phone a hundred times with Verizon and it just simply isnt going to. i purchased RecordiaPro - Record Phone Calls. Record Cell Phone Conversations. call Recorder in early april and have been pretty satisfied with it. not free of course but at least for me has paid itself back tenfold

This answer is probably not going to help much, but I believe the sound recorder app that is in the recent miui builds will play your recorded .amr files. I don't know if it was first included in 1.4.22 or 1.4.29, but I know it is in the latest release.
