LG's Roombalike Vacuum Syncs Up To Your Phone To Show You How Dirty You Are!

I say give the robots all the power and give me a nice comfy recliner and a VR headset! I am not actually ready for robot domination, but it is nice to see automated devices that are able to do the mundane chores of life. Roomba has kind of been the King in robotic vacuum cleaners for the past 10 years or so.

LG will be showing of their very own robotic vacuum this year at CES. The HOM-BOT Turbo+ vacuum can clean your house without you just like some of the other robotic vacuum cleaners on the market, but their is one big difference. The HOM-BOT uses cameras to record as it cleans so it can figure out what it has already cleaned. The camera can be viewed from an Android app which also allows you to control the device remotely.

Whats even cooler is the HOM-BOT acts as a home monitor system. You can access those cameras while you are away to check out your house. The system will send still photos to your device if it detects motion! Id say the features here are enough to differentiate this vacuum from vacuums like the roomba. LG may have something here!

Sounds awesome! the fact that it is also a roving security camera on top of being a vacuum cleaner is awesome! I almost wrote a story on this one @DroidModderX! I got buys and never got back to it. Great minds and such...
