It will but u can backup all your contacts through your Google account or vzw backup assistant

Backup of multiple areas to SD before a factory reset ... including phone logs, text message history, contacts, and launcher settings is actually really easy with Go Backup. You can even back up apps and app settings, but installing fresh is usually better to give a new start for apps.
