Help? Soft buutons are gone

OK so last night on my gfs phone I went through the steps from wugs root helper. I unlocked the phone and rooted it, restored all her apps and data. Phone worked fine last night and partially today and then she downloaded a app to change the color of the notification bar (app called Super Status Bar)afterwards she turned the phone off and back on to see if her changes have been saved and that's when the soft keys are completely missing. We unisntalled it, rebooted and same thing, I then rebooted n recovery and wiped cache partition and still missing so then I did a factory data wipe and reset and their still missing. I'm out of ideas guys, please help. Thanks

I would flash it back to stock or flash a rom.
