Will liberty work on a Droid 2 global does it make a difference

it wil work but only if you use rom'er v7. it will overwrite the files that make a difference between the D2 and D2G.
you will lose sencors though. (ie: screen wont shut off when you put it by your face)
read post one...i take it your talking about the newest version of liberty. im running liberty 2.0.1. use rom'er v7 that is posted for liberty 1.5.
flash rom and then flash v7 and it should work.

Other than losing the sensors it works like a dream. I have a D2G and I love it. Not having the sensors isn't that big of a deal.

i kind of miss the sensors but once you get in the habit of hitting the power button to turn the screen off your good. it took me a day of pushing buttons with my face to get it.

Do the sensors include the accelerometer or just the proximity and light sensor?
