Droid 1 Does Not Boot

I have a first generation Droid. It had worked generally fine. Plugged it in to charge yesterday. Today it is dead and will not turn on at all, no scree start-up, no boot up. Battery is OK - a new battery will not get it to boot. A new charger will not get it to boot. I've tried your recommmended soft and hard resets and it remains dead (X on keyboard power button, ALT Shift Key Delete key). I think I knnow the answer, is it DEAD or is there another option to diagnose the problem and get it running again. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think its dead. If it won't turn on, I dont think there's any hope for it :shocked-b: Thats just my 2 cents
