I woke up this morning, opened my contacts list to make a call and found that about 2/3 of my contacts were gone. I checked Backup Assistant and it said that 52 contacts had been saved (which is the right number). I went to the Verizon Wireless website and looked up my contacts and, sure enough, there are 52 contacts there.
My question is: how do I get them from the website to my phone? Someone on another forum said something about importing my contacts through Google and syncing those contacts to the phone which should put back all my contacts. How do I do that?
Also, it has become apparent in my research that Backup Assistant is a flaming piece of sh*t. Is there any other way to backup my contacts? I'm assuming Google can do that, but how? Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I'm using a Motorola D2 on Verizon (obviously). Non-rooted, using ADW EX (don't know if that matters or not).
