I just happened to be browsing around and of course saw all the screenshots of Android 4.3 on an S4. Anyhow, I do not own this device, therefore I cannot test or confirm whether it works or not, and this also applies that if you test, it is at your own risk. Yeah they posted that on the home page as well. That is not for the Verizon version though, they dangle the fruit but don't let us grab it.

Sometimes fruit is all we need, looks like there is some strong Development going on over at XDA, which looks like testers are needed. If you happen to own the S4 and are on Verizon with Root, keep following this.... :icon_ lala:

Anyone know how long it usually takes from the outing of the new version via media outlets like xda or here, until it actually hits the phones?

Usually is relative sadly. It was almost a year after they released ICS till I saw it on my Razr Maxx. We are at the mercy of Samsung and the tweaks they want to make to the OS before it is pushed out.
