DroidX half screen flashing

My DROIDX started flashing about one week ago. Just the lower half of the screen, the top half is fine. This only happens 80% of the time. Still does it after battery is popped. Any ideas?

I would have to say its a hardware issue, most likely the screen is going out. That is just off the top of my head. I have never heard of software causing an issue of that nature, but it could be.

Yea sounds like a screen/digitizer issue. You can repair it yourself or send it in for repair (if you think the cost is justified.)

What are the steps in trying to fix this myself? I will try that first. I have had this phone almost two year so I could upgrade to a new phone soon.

First off I'd Google "replace screen/digitizer Droid X" and view some of the many tutorials and see if its something you even want to try. Then order any needed parts and tools.
