droid x black screen

I was tryin ios 7 on droid x using espier launcher when i switched back to dx launcher i pressed home and it didnt work (help to solve) so i kept on pressing back and i got to the home screen and i put my dx to sleep (by pressing the button on top) i turn the screen on and it was a black screen. I could swipe down th notification bar and use hard key commands like search and voice commands

I had a problem similar to that on my DROID 2. It turned out that the aftermarket browser kept force closing and wouldn't allow me to go to either launcher. I was able to boot into safe mode and delete the third party launcher, all was well after that.
