I turned my phone back on after flying this week and it is stuck in Safe Mode.

I've tried the obvious things such as turning off and back on and pulling the battery but I can't get it to just boot normally.

I don't want to have to wipe it unless I have to, especially since I'm unsure that will fix it.

Has anyone had this problem or have any suggestions as to how to get it out of Safe Mode?

Thanks

Restart

I have the Droid Incredible 2 and just figured how to disable "safe mode".

-Hold the power button

-Select "Restart" NOT "Power off"

-It takes about 30 seconds-1 minute for the device to shut down completely. DO NOT TOUCH any buttons.

-The device will power up automatically. Main screen will appear in approx. 1 minute with "safe mode" turned off.

Hope that helps.

Another option

Doing restart only did not work for me.
What did work though was this:
- Hold Power button down
- Select Restart
- When you see the white HTC screen, press down the "volume down" button
until screen changes.
That worked for me. I am hoping it will help some people out there because it took me awhile to figure this one out.
good luck!

Thank you!! After having trouble with my Huawei G700-U10 I finnaly got it working again, but it kept booting in safe mode, no matter what I tried.
Your solution was the only one on the web I found which worked. I made this account on this forum just to hank you for this.

Thanks again!
