Motorola Droid A855, Version 2.2.3 Rooting

Hi all - new here, looking to root my Droid A855, Version 2.2.3 (Froyo???). Can anyone help me with a site where I can download it straight on my phone without connecting to my computer? I would like something simple if possible, manual updates and "hold this button down while doing this" just sucks!!!

ALOHA and WELCOME to the forum. head over to the subforum where u will get the guidelines on how to root. pls be sure to thoroughly read before attempting and always have a back up file. be sure to locate the current SBF file in case something happens.
