YouTube sign in problems?

Hi everyone. New to the site and to the Motorola Droid as I just picked one up yesterday. Am loving the phone so far but have one small problem.

Every time that i try to log in to my YouTube account, I get a message back that there was a network error. I am positive that I am using the correct user name and password, I checked on my PC.

Is there some trick to logging in that I do not know about or is everyone having trouble?

I had the same exact problem yesterday. Eventually it worked after a half dozen tries.

I had to go into the Accounts option under Settings and create it there.
