Here's my main screen (the 2nd one shows my hidden widget springboard, which is only showing when I want to use one of the widgets). I have 4 other screens, in addition to the 8 app/shortcut trays that are launched by the buttons just above the dock.
Springboards are a basic function available for creation/customization in Sweeter Home 2. The "Trigger" button is the springboard for my widgets. I connected the widgets I wanted to that springboard and made the springboard itself invisible until pressed. Once pressed, it launches the widgets, then when I press it again, it hides them and goes invisible. Each of the 8 buttons near the bottom is also a springboard, which is connected to a tray (customized with the apps or shortcuts I want in the tray launched using that button). Make sense?
Examples of springboards/trays:
And by the way, the options for the colors, transparency, size and shapes of the springboards and trays (as well the size and transparency of the icons within the trays--and you can choose whether or not you want the icon labels) is pretty much limitless.
