Sounds about right. 30-40 dollars for plan, plus 30 for web/email, plus 20 for text. 90 bucks, and then all the rip off charges (lol have you ever actually LOOKED at the charges? Fee/fee/fee/tax/fee/fee) and 105 sounds about right.
I have 900 minutes, unlimited text and web. I'm thinking I should be at right around 100 bucks, plus a 22% discount through my work, and then all the taxes and all.. so about 100 for me too.
Personally, I think cell phone companies should be taken outside and shot for the 20 dollars for text messages. In reality they put no strain on their system and is pretty much free revenue (there were actually some congressional discussions about changing the fee they could charge for text messaging).
The best story was when the US government was ordered by the courts to repay the 1 or 2 dollar fee that was used to pay for the Spanish war over 100 years ago, and that fee was never taken off of phone bills. The cell phone companies didnt' have to pay it any more, and they changed the name of the fee and just pocket the fee every month now.
Sigh. i could go on and on about the way companies just rape us. Between overdrafts, ATM fees, text messaging... Its just the world we live in, I guess.
