just wanted see bill rates.

mine is 105 a month thats with the 450 minutes and unlimited text with the data plan am i getting played? help a droid out

I'm at about $80 a month with 450 minutes, the $9.99 text plan (unl. in network and 250 outside), and obviously the $29.99 data plan.

How much is your text plan? Is the $105 after taxes are added?

I'm guessing my bill will be identical to what it was with my Q9c.. about $83/month with 450 mins, data and 250 txts.

I'll know for sure in about 10 days.

I think I have the same plan, 450 minutes $40, unlimited text $20, and data $30 = $90 plus taxes came out to about $100.

I'm glad I get 15% off through work though : )

Sounds about right. 30-40 dollars for plan, plus 30 for web/email, plus 20 for text. 90 bucks, and then all the rip off charges (lol have you ever actually LOOKED at the charges? Fee/fee/fee/tax/fee/fee) and 105 sounds about right.

I have 900 minutes, unlimited text and web. I'm thinking I should be at right around 100 bucks, plus a 22% discount through my work, and then all the taxes and all.. so about 100 for me too.

Personally, I think cell phone companies should be taken outside and shot for the 20 dollars for text messages. In reality they put no strain on their system and is pretty much free revenue (there were actually some congressional discussions about changing the fee they could charge for text messaging).

The best story was when the US government was ordered by the courts to repay the 1 or 2 dollar fee that was used to pay for the Spanish war over 100 years ago, and that fee was never taken off of phone bills. The cell phone companies didnt' have to pay it any more, and they changed the name of the fee and just pocket the fee every month now.

Sigh. i could go on and on about the way companies just rape us. Between overdrafts, ATM fees, text messaging... Its just the world we live in, I guess.

they did some research a couple months ago and said cell phone companies are ripping customers off cause it costs literally nothing for text messages. my bill is about the same as the original poster..

Yup i thought i posted that article in the off-topic forum. Meh if not then oh well. It was a good read anyways. Yeah they cost what like 0.0015 cents to send a text. Oh well, until the day we revolt, they will not change. The reason this article came about though was due to the fact that they were trying to RAISE texting rates, and people were outraged.

Needless to say though my total plan costs me 111.29 a month. I get a 15% discount though.

thanks yall looked at my receipt and man theirs a lot of those tax charges surcharges. but it came out about right

I'm at $225 select-2100 min, 5 lines in total unlimited text pics flixs plus insurance and that's including $29.99 ×2 for my Droid & the wifes Eris

In my case, I have five lines two of them for both droids and the rest of the lines for dumb phones which are LG voyager env2 & env touch so I had to throw in the unlimited text

I am at $119.99 per month. Unlimited voice, unlimited text, unlimited data.

I think I may have a corporate discount factoring in there though....
