Yet another Yahoo! thread. Haven't seen anyone talk about this though

Moto Droid, 2.1. No other mail apps.

Yahoo mail hardly ever works on my phone. Even on 3G 99 times out of 100 I'll get 'password incorrect'. I was laying in the bed this morning and it finally pissed me off, so I deleted my account (from the @EMail app) and tried to put it back.

'password incorrect'.

I tried to open the browser, go to mail.yahoo.com and log in

'password incorrect'.

WTF? I get out of bed (thinking I locked my account or something) stumble over to my desktop, clear my cache, and login to yahoo mail just fine.

I go back to the droid, the browser still has the login info I tried last time; I hit 'login' and it works like a charm.

Also, the account login page still has the info. 'Next' and it works like a charm, without retyping anything.

Does anyone else have these spotty ****ty login issues?

Does yahoo! mail work perfectly for anyone?

I noticed this issue when I tried to connect to the Yahoo imap account while hooked up to wifi. Yahoo imap only works over 3G. Could this be what you're observing?

Edit: duh, never mind. You already said it's on 3G too. Sorry!

I use k-9 from the market to manage my yahoo account. I too had problems with the stock email app. Since k9 I have had zero issues!
