Wireless Tethering Issue

Hey guys I recently have been trying to use my Incredible for tethering. The phone is all rooted up with UnRevoked and I got a nice overclocked hydra kernel on there.
I am using the root tethering app (I believe its the latest one). I am able to connect my laptop to it but I get the dreaded "limited connectivity" little yellow triangle thing. Basically I can't use the the internet.

Any suggestions?

BTW i have done the android.tether folder creation with the renamed system dump file.

Tethering Help PLEASE

I am having a very similar problem. Rooted incredible, Ruby ROM, using Wireless Tether. The computer sees and connects to the phone. The 3G indcator is on, yet I cannot connect to the network. Access control is off. The log has green "done"s all the way down. The app indicates that I have .4kB down and .1kB up. Barnacle does not work any better. This is KILLING me, as the ROM does not have the Verizon 3G Mobile app. Therefore, right now, I cannot tether wirelessly. PLEASE help.

SOLUTION FOUND: OLD WIRELESS TETHER APP WAS THE PROBLEM. UPDATE HERE SOLVED ISSUE http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/detail?name=wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre11.apk&can=2&q=

I have the latest verison of wireless tether. I can connect with decent down and up speeds but i still have limited network access. So in other words no internet.

Do as ljw suggested and roll back to a previous version. Something's screwy about the latest release, I'm sure the dev is working on it.

Not sure this will help, I was having a similar issue with wired tether and wireless tether. I only mention that because for there were different solutions for each fix. For a wired tether with limited access, once I actually opened my internet browser it recognised the phones internet. On the wireless issue I found that when I enabled the security it would not link. When I dropped the security it linked right away.
