Wireless Printing of a PDF ==> Printer Recommendations?

There must be an easy way by now to be able to print wirelessly from my S4. I've never attempted this - but thought I would reach out and see what others are doing/recommend as the best way to do this. I'm in the market for a new printer :)

HP has a number of printers that is e-Print compatible. You set up e-Print on the printer, and then install the HP e-Print app on your smartphone. Once activated, you can then print from your phone to your HP printer.

I have an HP wifi and it works greatl I use Printershare tho but does what any wifi printer will do...

There's also cloud print (beta) but I think that needs Chrome. I was actually going to do this the other day and you just reminded me :) Thank you! LOL

I'm installing it right now to see if I can figure it out.

Edit: Well that was a waste of time ;) I don't use Chrome full time and I don't want to be signed in all the time. So scratch that. Will revisit again when I really need it.

Edit 2: Downloaded Cloud Print app and it works :)

I recently purchased a HP printer that has Air Print on it (I also have an ipad that I print off of) and it works great with my S3. I will check on the model number for you.

Check the link below for printing tips. I can print locally to my wired and wireless printers in my office using PrinterShare or CloudPrint. The benefit of the CloudPrint is that I don't have to be in my office to use the printers in my office but it doers need to go to the cloud first whereas PrinterShare will print locally to a shared printer on a PC even if it is a direct connection via USB to the computer.

PrinterShare also lets me print to virtually any of the printers at my customer's sites so long as the printer is on the network and they have WiFi I'm connected to.

Rather than add to that long post I forgot to mention that any app you will use to print needs to have a print function, usually "share". Some apps don't and it appears even with all the bells and whistles of the new 4.5 G-Mail it still can't print.

Just to add, with HP's ePrint app, you don't need to be connected to the printer via WiFi in order to print. My HP laser multifunction is connected to my WiFi at home, and it is always on. If I am away from home, I can send something to print to my printer via the cloud. When you set up your ePrint account, it essentially gives your HP printer a unique email address and the app then directs the print to that email address.

Most HP wifi printers also let you email a document to the printer, although the email addy they give you is not something you will remember so best to write it down.

When you set up ePrint, it asks you to create an email address with the domain @hpeprint.com, so it is fairly easy to remember since you get to choose the email address you want. And you only need to use that email address if you are not using the HP ePrint app.

Where do you find this?

Do you have an HP printer set up with ePrint (they changed the name to HP Connected now)? If yes, log into HP Connected, then select Devices, and your HP printer should appear on the list. It will also show the unique email address for the printer. If you click on Settings (for the particular printer), it gives you the option to change the email address for that printer.

As for the HP ePrint Android app, you can find it in the Play store.
