Will the Incredible ever see the new Sense UI unrooted?

There is one developer already working on porting over a new form of the Desire Sense to the Inc. Hopefully it will be done soon. Really wanting to see that.

They haven't said much about that yet, but speculation is that it will be. I would put money on seeing a version ported for root far before the official hits.

Yeah, isn't the current version not allowing the camera to work or something? I'm excited for the update, I just don't like rooting my phone and having to put all of my files and apps back on it. It's just a pain, especially with backing up my internal memory to my computer

Exactly. I believe IncDoes is working on the Desire Z port, which is supposed to be the same as the Desire HD just made to fit our screen better, and was finding it easier to work with. Hopefully that means the camera will be coming over now.
