will I loose root with the official update?

I DLed a manual update and installation failed. It changed a few things that I have noticed but nothing large.

My biggest concern is I am running stock but with root. Will I lose this?

You rooted once so if you lose it you can always just root once more. By the time 3.0 rolls out you'll be an expert!

Real good chance the update will not update a rooted rom at all. If you want the update then revert back to stock (link 3 in my signature). If you want root, then don't try to upgrade to the official rom.
