WiFi and phone signal fade out.

My wifi and phone signal fade out and reed very low in the task bar. they seem to fade out in a time frame of about 3 to 5 mins. when i disable wifi and then turn it back on again signals go to full and then start fade out again.
this is happening at my home with a properly functioning wireless router and good phone coverage.
I noticed this after installing BB Vo.5. frg 22d.
Phone is rooted. did not have this problem with previouse rom. dont know if this is just a coincedence or not. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same issue running ShadowROM v0.2.2. My signal strength will go from full to having no service to 2-3 bars. Then my 3G goes to 1x and my WiFi has been doing the same also. I could be right next to my router and it'll drop to very low signal. When I turn WiFi off and then back on I will get full signal.
