Wife's Dinc2

My wife has had this phone for a while now, unrooted, but ever since the latest GB update her wallpaper switches randomly once or twice a day. Even after setting it to a pic from the gallery it will switch to something else after some time. I have not been able to find a fix yet. Trying to avoid a factory reset, but it's looking more and more like that will be the case. Anyone have any ideas?

Just make sure you have not downloaded an Wallpaper app that does this. There are a few out there that change your backgrounds randomly. Also, if you have any apps that are thread killers such as Advanced Task Killer or any 'battery saver' apps that really are just task killers may cause random events on any Android system. Remove them as they are counter-productive to the operating system. It also could be a misbehaving app doing something weird. Failing all that, it never hurts to do factory resets. Just remember that if you have backed up your environment in Google, it can bring the same misbehaving app back.

Ya she doesn't have any wallpaper apps and certainly no task killers.

A factory reset seems to have solved the issue. Thanks
