Why is my screen turning off when playing a game (NFS)?

Just bought NFS Shift for $.99 (great deal!) and occasionally the screen turns off when I'm playing, like it times out and the backlight turns off. What would make it do that?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I noticed in another thread that someone playing The Sims 3 was experiancing the same issue. Since they are both EA games I bet it has something to do with their games...

Not just on Android...

This doesn't just happen on Android devices believe it or not. I have an iPod Touch 4G and while playing Real Racing 2 the screen goes out. Just go to settings>display>screen timeout and adjust the settings.
