somebodys downloaded pictures are showing up while I work out or travel or sleep. Traveling through an airport got I got a picture of an apple in my gallery, A red one. Dismissed it thinking the kids did it? Flew and had the phone off. Turned it back on looking around sitting in traffic, hit my gallery and find someones five shots of a smuckers pbj. Wrapped, unwrapped, bitten from and two other stupid views. Tonight....drawing the line, found this-

um.....its likely I have disregarded a few others...seriously, not a joke, no clue where its from. Anyone? No funky downloads, no sites, was at gym, phone tucked away..new freaking pic. Bluetooth is not on....

Dang that's pretty wild, though the answer is clear(and the same to everything else I have no explanation for):

Magic

+1 I smiled. That counts for one but half of me wanted to hear it happened somewhere else....Magic. I will borrow that for now.

Sorry to be facetious, I am definitely interested in knowing the cause, that's just crazy especially considering the random nature of the photos.

What folder are they in? Also are there any apps you've recently downloaded that are of that might deal with various photos?

do you have some sort of setup where you phone and comp talk to eachother? maybe your kids are doing things on your comp and its getting sent to your phone.

I have seen it happening in few and far in between spurts. I am exceptionally busy and seldom sit long enough to get bored, but when I am in my human again mode.....its reading or scrabble. I admittedly went into a touch of a download frenzy recently and turned around and uninstalled items that did not meet my par. None were a camera oriented device. Plus, said frenzy is not a issue because the issue was prior to the downloads and after. Zebra paint, tetris, notepad, and word wrench, and crossword find would more than likely not bring this issue on. Yawning at myself.

Its always in downloaded file. Odd.

No phone computer relationship. Kids werent with me today or tonight. They left the gym with Dad when I arrived. Off to baseball and football practices, plus beat them all home. I really do not let them grab my things, or play on my phone 9 out of the 10 requests....its not them.

Plus, ten and six...a little too soon for my crew.

Maybe your Droid is set to sync with Picasa, and someone has gained access to your Picasa account? That's all I can think of.

Looked at Picasa in the past. When I returned from our European vacation. I checked to see if someone had put a picture of places I might have been, but with a different angle. I am not syncing though.

I am beginning to think I am just turning up at the right place at the wrong time and snagging the stuff that maybe someone else is sending but their signal dropped and I was walking by and....there it is. ....nobody else, huh......wowza and shucks. Nothing like standing out in the crowd......Jones luck.

Weird... if they were not all showing up in your /download directory, I'd say you have some app that's doing something with these pictures, and the gallery is just picking them up b/c there is no .nomedia file in the respective directory. However, the fact that they're all in the /download directory throws a wrench in that theory.

If your phone was like my car, I'd probably say it was haunted--My wife named my '57 Chevy after Steven Kings book 'Christine'
