I'm not sure on the download but when you are entering text into a text message you should be able to long press the text box and your input methods should come up. Not sure if that is also true for rooted users but I hope this can help

Well I use to have it the beta expired a while ago like a few months but I'm currently in the process of Flashing UltimateDriod 2.5.0 so I wanted to try and get swipe back if I can somehow!!

Swype is officially available only through their beta program. Any links to unofficial copies are not allowed to be posted on these forums. They occasionally open the beta to new users so register at http://beta.swype.com/

Swype has been in a closed beta forever, You have to sign up to get updates.
Posting Swype apks is not allowed on DF

252, sincerely appreciate you trying to help out but this forum's position is that links to Swype downloads for devices that are not preinstalled with the software are not permissible.

...then let me add some comforting information also - there have been reports of Swype sending out Beta testing packages within the same week of signing up for the closed Beta

So my suggestion would be to sign up and wait - you never know, they might contact you sooner that you think
