I'm seeking an app (Similar to AirDroid) specifically for the SMS functionality, though I want one with a desktop client. Like, a hard downloaded running in the background client, not one based off an extension, or needing a browser to be open. Mostly because at this point my phone is away from me for a good chunk of the day, and getting texts which would pop up like an IM message, Steam message or other client message would be super helpful, as I kind of zone out when working. Any tips or ideas appreciated! (I've googled around a bit and found a few Desktop clients, but each one seems to have a faulty installer, leading me to believe they're only adware.)
