Really? The DX1 got 2.2 about a month after the DX1 came out.. the DX1 got GB before the Incredible and EVO. They both came out before the DX1...HTC is usually better with updates. And it got 2.3 before some phone with stock Android...:biggrin: Dont just go by what you here in forums...I'm assuming right now, dont take it personal...lol.


I'm going with Apr - May. Or hoping for Apr - May.

actually with the ICS leak for the GSM phones, we might get ICS for CDMA phones soon.

either way im still rooting for december just before the world ends. maybe motorola would let us enjoy ICS just before the world goes boom.

Yea but gingerbread for the DX was a complete disaster. They may release ICS for the RAZR soon, but its gonna have a lot of bugs and be unstable. I was saying October for ICS to be running smooth on the RAZR

based on my bionic experience, i'd say probably not within the next millennium. at least not a properly working version of it....

Can the razr be rooted right as of now? And if so couldn't someone port ics to the razr? Is ics really that ground breaking?!

The razr can be rooted. A few people have been working for a little while on getting ICS ported to the RAZR, but it is still in a very early beta stage and is not really very functional at all yet. Development on the RAZR has been slow in the beginning mainly because it took a while for the fastboot files to be leaked so that their was a way to restore the phone back to stock if something happened and someone soft bricked their phone. The locked bootloader hasn't really helped either.
