When my phone rings it says "Verizon Wireless"

I went into settings, Call Settings, Caller ID Readout - I choose "ring only" but this doesn't fix it. My phone also will all of a sudden say "Verizon Wireless - Lost Service". Does anyone know how I can turn the readout off? Thanks in advance.

Settings>>Sound>>Uncheck Call Connect, Network Lost Tone and Roaming Tone.
