Whatsapp crashing my HTC one m7

Over the past week and a half, when i try to post a picture or video in whatsapp my phone reboots every single time. I've tried everything from uninstalling the app, deleting all chats and my phone software is up to date. I have used whatsapp to post pictures for over a year now with this phone and iv never had a problem. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks
