What's the flashing Triangle icon in the notification bar?

Cant figure it out...

The flashing triangle is the no service icon.
and it's odd to me that you would have that considering you've had your phone a week

I get it sometimes in real bad reception areas or coming out of airplane mode

The house I live in blocks signals like nuts... But always has wifi. Guess I will see this alot.
