What Is That Mystery Tone?

Several times daily, my TB emits a bonk-bonk-bonk-bonk tone for no apparent reason. At least, it's not apparent to me. I don't see any new e-mail or voice mail, the phone sits, untouched, attached to its charger on my desk and this mystery tone happens. Does anyone know what it is?

Does it only do it while it is on the charger? It could be a tone that lets you know your phone is fully charged and to take it off the charger. If it is, there should be an option in Sounds to turn the notif off.

First thing I thought was it's a full charge indicator, but it's completely random. It happens whether or not it's connected to the charger...when the battery is full or partially charged. What's making me nuts is I can't find that sound anywhere in the settings to turn it off.

Tbolt doesn't have a tone to tell you to unplug, or an onscreen notification. Thankfully, I'm smart enough to figure out when to unplug it. Any notification sound should have a visual notification as well, correct?

So strange! I'll be on my phone alot today, and check out sounds. If you figure it out, please let us know. Maybe HTC can help.

How about this:
Is it only doing it when you put the phone to sleep or even turn the screen back on?
I notice that the way I hold the phone i sometimes hit the volume rocker when putting it to sleep, causing it to make a tone, or even vibrate if I have it on that setting.
