Yeah that's what I thought. I had to make sure because my droid is definitely a dummy. It can't get past Installing... when I put it into boot recovery mode. I am so done with this ROM **** and I cannot simply install Gingerbread or anything for that matter because of my Droid's incapability to install a simple ROM!
Yeah you gotta use bootstrapper and get into clockwork recovery. Also, considering you didn't know what it meant to flash a rom, are you even rooted? I'm not trying to sound like an a$$. Just wondering.
Yes I am rooted. That was easy. yes I do go into clockworkmod recovery using the droid 2 bootstrapper. When i go into clockworkmod recovery mode, I make sure I have my backup, wipe data and cache, and then attempt to install. Is the a correct combination of mountings? system and data need to be mounted right?
