What are these BLACK amorphic spots on my screen?

When my screen goes gray for whatever reason (booting, loading, etc.), I notice these black amorphic-shaped spots on my screen. (by that I mean there's no real shape to the spots) I don't notice it during regular use.

What is this? Is my screen cracked somehow?

They are supposedly fairly common on this type of screen and do not mean anything is wrong with the screen. I have had them on my screen since the day I got it over 2 years ago and it still works like new and the spots haven't gotten any worse.

They're from the manufacturing process of the phone. They are only visible when the screen is dark. Some devices have more and some have less.
