What are the must have apps for droid? i am a newbe!

I never found a use for that app. Seemed like a waste of space. I lock my phone as SOON as I get done with it. I don't need a program running in the background, using battery power itself and memory to do that for me based on whatever way my phone is laying down.

I agree. On the occasions that I have now had to reclaim my apps, Screebl is number 1 on my list.

A lot of people swear by it, but like I said...seemed worthless to me. If you just lock your phone when you're done, it saves more battery than Screebl...because screebl has to run in the background whereas my finger is solar powered.

Its for turning off autodim, while you are using it.
Other than that, it goes to 15 sec timeout.. nice battery saver compared to not using dimmer and having to "lock" the phone. It doesnt even show up in battery status.. so its not a "battery drainer"

It uses some battery whereas my finger uses none...so it definitely uses more battery having it run than not.
