Help! My daughter dropped my facinate in the toilet! Is there anything I can do to get it too work

Some people say to fill a bag with rice and leave the phone in there with the batt out for a few days but I have heard conflicting views.

If you do put it in rice you can put it in a Stocking and then in a bowl of rice to help keep the residue from the rice from damaging the internals if it does dry out properly

Otherwise uncooked rice really does work for drying it out. That's the reason I got my Droid in the first. Place, I accidently sent my htc titan (verizonvx6800) through the wash, and while the phone worked after a few days of rice, the battery was toast. Only charged up a few times, then finally stopped accepting a charge at all.

So even if it does work, I would use insurance to get a new one, or at least try a new battery.
