Were AVI Files Supposed to Play in 2.2?

I believe not, however you can D/L rockplayer from the market and it will play avi's. I use it and love it.

Agreed

2.2 was never supposed to have native .avi playing capabilities. But Rockplayer is amazing! It plays every thing I throw at it.

Why does rockplayer have a delete button and then tell you it's not a file manager when you try to delete something? Lol. I just want to get rid of the tv episodes I just watched....

Thanks for this tip! Wasn't sure how to play my mp4s as i was getting sound but not picture... but rockplayer seemed to do the trick! :)
